Dog License(s) Due By April 1, 2023

Residents of Woodbury,

Please license your dog(s) by April 1, 2023, or a late fee will be applied.

Licensing fees:

Before April 1, 2023 – Spayed or Neutered dogs are $9, non-spayed/neutered dogs are $13

After April 1, 2023 – Spayed or Neutered dogs are $11; non spayed/neutered dogs are $17

You can license your dog(s) by coming into the Town Clerk’s office, mailing your check with a copy of the most recent Rabies Certificate with a self-addressed stamped envelope, or placing your check with a copy of the most recent Rabies Certificate in the drop box located in the front of the Town Clerk’s office to the left of the door. Please provide a copy of the most recent Rabies Certificate for each animal – you may contact us to check to see if we have an up-to-date certificate on file.

Vermont State Statute 20 VSA § 3581 requires that all dogs over 6 months of age must be licensed by April 1st of each year.

Licensing your dog provides the town with information to ensure that lost dogs may be reunited with their owner. A portion of the fee contributes to state-wide rabies clinics and a low-cost spay & neuter programs.

Please contact your Town Clerk’s Office with any questions. Our phone number is 802-456-7051. We appreciate your cooperation in licensing your dog(s)!

Thank you,

Robin Durkee, Woodbury Town Clerk
