The Town Clerk’s duties range from recording, preserving and certifying public documents, administering oaths of office, running local elections, helping residents register to vote, maintaining the grand list, issuing marriage licenses, and licensing animals. The Town Clerk is who people go to when they have a question or need information about the town. The Town Clerk is elected at Town Meeting for a three-year term.
