Dear Woodbury Residents,
On Wednesday, February 16th at 6:00 pm the Woodbury ARPA Committee will host an important informational meeting regarding the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds, that are available for persons and projects in the Town of Woodbury. The meeting will be conducted in the Woodbury Elementary School, alternatively members of the public may attend remotely via Zoom. The ARPA funds are intended to provide “a substantial infusion of resources to help turn the tide on the pandemic, address its economic fallout, and lay the foundation for a strong and equitable recovery.” Woodbury has received the first installment of $131,975.00 and will receive the second installment of the same amount in August of this year.
At the meeting on February 16, representatives from the Vermont League of Cities and Towns (VLCT) and the Central Vermont Regional Planning Commission (CVRPC) will provide information and guidance regarding eligibility requirements and potential uses for ARPA funds. The ARPA Committee strongly recommends that any Woodbury resident or entity who is interested in applying for ARPA funds, attend this meeting.
